This drought resistant, fast growing, tree flourishes in subtropical conditions (i.e. Mpumalanga, Limpopo) and has been used for centuries in Eastern countries, in the health sector, to treat and prevent diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, anaemia, arthritis, liver disease, and respiratory, skin and digestive disorders.

It is known that some doctors use it to treat diabetes in West Africa, and high blood pressure in India. Moringa is also known to be used for cancer, asthma, anxiety, anemia, headaches, intestinal fat reduction, hormonal imbalances, hepatic detoxification, diuretic for kidneys, tonsillitis, tuberculosis, migraine, hangover, allergies, stomach ulcers, skin infections, malaria, etc.

Many health problems are due to poor nutrition, which result in immune system breakdown and disease. When you correct those nutritional deficiencies, with super packed nutritious food like Moringa, it is bound to improve health. The ability for Moringa to have such diverse healing effects is due to the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and healing elements the tree contains.

Other uses for Moringa are also found in the Cosmetics sector, Biofuels, Animal Feed and Fertilizer sectors.
